| so i was filling out the "introduce yourself" page for one of the business schools that i'm applying to and this is what i encountered: so my dilemma is.....there is a box for "women"....first question, why would you have a box for women but not for men.....second question, if i don't check the box, does that mean that i'm not interested in women.....but if i do check the box....then do they think you're going to hbs because of the women?....*sigh*....the decisions we have to make....and this isn't even the application yet. | | |

Fruitywu: and then i'm gonna come in all dressed up
Fruitywu: i'm gonna buy her a pair of shoes that she wanted
Fruitywu: and bring one of them
dalazyboy: wow....that's really cool
Fruitywu: and then i'll say something like "whosoever fitteth in this shoe, i will accompany them to the royal ball"

Fruitywu: and then i'll be like "how about u my lady"
Fruitywu: and i'll put it on her foot
Fruitywu: and i'll ask her to homecoming
dalazyboy: wow
dalazyboy: that sounds super romantic

dalazyboy: she'll totally like that
Fruitywu: i hope so
dalazyboy: for reals
Fruitywu: i know she wants me to do it in front of everyone
dalazyboy: she will

Dang....buying a car is a hassle....maybe i should just buy a new car
instead of trying to find a decent used one. We'll see....just
gotta keep on trusting that God will provide something just right....I
guess I'll just keep waiting....

| so yesterday i was planning to have lunch today with nancy vilaysak at
11AM. yes, quite early for me for all those who actually know my
sleeping habits. so i set my alarm to 10:30...thinking i could
just wake up, change, brush my teeth and jet. At 10:30, i
groggily wake up, but keep half-sleeping and laying on my bed.
Then my clock showed 10:44....and suddenly....panic flashed through my
mind cuz i just remembered that i had homework due for my 9:30
class. i'm thinking....OH CRUD!!....i'm screwed over for like
literally 10% of my grade for that class....a whole drop in a letter
grade. after 5 seconds of panic....i realize that its not too
late....class doesn't end till 10:50 so i can get there and drop it
off. and of course....it wasn't really 10:44.....cuz i had set my
clocks 10 minutes fast so i would save myself from dire situations such
as these. so i run out and drive to school at crazy man kinda
speeds. getting to school at a nice 2 minutes before class
ends....with just enough time to tear my homework out of my notebook
and write my name!!!!! class ends and i walk to the front to turn
in my homework....collect my midterm.....and walk out a HAPPY
man!! =)
PROPS to nancy v. cuz if i wasn't going to have lunch with her....then
i woulda woken up at 2:00PM and been really mad at myself. THANKS
nancy for saving me from dropping a whole letter grade!! =)
Morale of the story:
1) Doing homework 5 days before the due date makes you forget that you have homework to turn in.
2) Weeks without Mondays make people forget to turn in their homework on Tuesdays
3) Setting clocks 10 minutes faster is ALWAYS a good idea!
4) Having lunch with nancy v. is a good thing.....YOU should try it too!
